Kaleido M6 Dual Artisan Bluetooth setup in Windows 10
Go to Bluetooth settings
Add a new Bluetooth device
Pick the Kaleido roaster
Open settings on the roasters display
As you initiate pairing from the PC keep a close eye on the setting display.
Next go to Windows “More bluetooth settings”
Create an outgoing COM port for Kaleido and remember the name since you will need it for Artisan.
Pick Kaleido Serial in Artisan Machine Config. Also go to Help menu and the read settings option. Add the Kaleido settings file here.
Go to Ports Configuration and make sure that you have your port listed here and not the defailt Kaleido one.
Set the speed of the connection to 9600 Bauds
Now everything should work but make sure you get temperature readings into Artisan and that the roaster responds to commands. I had everything working except power today. Finally I had to go to Kaleido’s auto settings and pick the demo curve for it to respond to my laptop. Today was the first time I managed to get everything to work so it is still early days for me...
