I tried to start it today but the earth fault trigger on my power main panel tripped every time. I thought it might be a bad motor or connection but as I started to remove shields etc I saw one of the heating elements in the silver skin drawer. The carbon wires created an earth fault when they touched the chassis. I got an extra set of heaters so I replaced it. The tightening force between heater and bracket was excessive so <<<the head of the screw got slightly deformed when >I tried to loosen it. Maybe they use liquid thread lock or something.
I have done three roasts now. I can't get the bluetooth to work properly. I tried with both a windows and a linux laptop. I have so far used the local panel but will need to study Artisan setup. There is a sample curve in the local panel that is called demo.csv. Maybe I can edit this file and customize it to my desires. The PID feels a bit slow so I need to dig out my old school books and read up about adjusting PID's. I think it is the P or I that should be a bit faster.
